The fallout from the viral kiss-cam moment at Coldplay\u2019s Boston concert<\/a> earlier this month continues.<\/p>\n

\n\tAstronomer human resources exec Kristin Cabot has resigned from the tech company after she was reportedly shown on video with CEO Andy Byron, who resigned last week<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tA rep for Astronomer confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter Friday that Cabot, who had served as chief people officer, was no longer with the data infrastructure firm and had resigned after reports surfaced Thursday saying that she had left.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring Coldplay<\/a>\u2018s concert at at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on July 16, the kiss-cam segment highlighted two people, reportedly Byron and Cabot, with their arms around each other. After the pair realized they were being shown on the jumbotron, they tried to hide. Internet sleuths quickly identified the couple as Byron and Cabot and found that both were married to other people. When the moment happened at the show, Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin joked, \u201cEither they\u2019re having an affair or they\u2019re just very shy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe incident went viral, sparking multiple memes<\/a> and was parodied on Monday\u2019s Late Show With Stephen Colbert<\/a> in a sweet moment with Colbert\u2019s fellow late night hosts showing their support for the CBS host who had recently announced that his show was ending.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs for Astronomer, it launched an investigation into the matter and placed Byron on leave.<\/p>\n

\n\tOver the weekend, Byron resigned<\/a>, with the data infrastructure company announcing his departure in a statement and noting they\u2019re looking for a replacement.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAstronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met. Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted,\u201d the statement read. \u201cThe Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe statement continued, \u201cBefore this week, we were known as a pioneer in the DataOps space, helping data teams power everything from modern analytics to production AI. While awareness of our company may have changed overnight, our product and our work for our customers have not. We\u2019re continuing to do what we do best: helping our customers with their toughest data and AI problems.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAnd at Coldplay\u2019s first show since the one in Boston, in Madison, Wisconsin, Martin gave fans a lighthearted warning about the jumbotron<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019d like to say hello to some of you in the crowd,\u201d he said in a fan video posted on\u00a0X. \u201cHow we\u2019re gonna do that is we\u2019re gonna use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen. So please, if you haven\u2019t done your makeup, do your makeup now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tColdplay, meanwhile, has seen streams of its songs increase by 25 percent<\/a>, according to data from Luminate.<\/p>\n
