Howell stars as Carrie White in the eight-episode series, which is expected to be released on Prime Video in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Samantha Sloyan, Siena Agudong, Alison Thornton, Thalia Dudek, Josie Totah, Arthur Conti, Joel Oulette, Amber Midthunder, and Matthew Lillard round out the cast.<\/p>\n<p>Recurring guest stars include\u00a0Kate Siegel, Michael Trucco, Katee Sackhoff, Rahul Kohli, Crystal Balint, Danielle Klaudt, Heather Graham,\u00a0Tim Bagley,\u00a0Tahmoh Penikett, Mapuana Makia,\u00a0Naika Toussaint,\u00a0Delainey Hayles,\u00a0Cassandra Naud, and Rowan Danielle.<\/p>\n<p>Misfit high-schooler Carrie White has spent her life in seclusion with her domineering mother. After her father\u2019s sudden and untimely death, Carrie finds herself contending with the alien landscape of public high school, a bullying scandal that shatters her community, and the emergence of mysterious telekinetic powers.<\/p>\n<p>Flanagan serves as writer and showrunner in addition to directing select episodes.
