Looks like there\u2019s a new Coldplay couple<\/a> making headlines. Apparently, Sophie Turner<\/a> and Chris Martin are an item \u2014 they went on a \u201csecret date\u201d in September, according to the Daily Mail<\/a>. Whatever that means!<\/p>\n While not much information is available about this maybe-new couple, Turner has been a longtime fan of Martin\u2019s. Her ex-husband, Joe Jonas<\/a>, surprised her with a birthday video<\/a> from the singer during a 2020 episode of Cup of Joe, his short-lived show on Quibi. \u201cThis is Chris from Coldplay,\u201d Martin said in his message. \u201cI wanted to say on behalf of me and the even more handsome members of our band, have the best day and I\u2019m sending you all my love and I hope you\u2019re having the best time.\u201d Turner was visibly excited and emotional, and declared, \u201cI\u2019m not going to cry on camera\u201d before high-fiving Jonas.<\/p>\n Now, was this \u201csecret date\u201d a romantic get-together or simply two Brits meeting up? Who\u2019s to say. Turner was last romantically linked to Peregrine \u201cPerry\u201d John Dickinson Pearson, the heir to the 4th Viscount Cowdray. They were last seen together in London on a dinner date in June<\/a> and reportedly broke up in September after \u201cbickering and arguing between feverish snogs on the dance floor\u201d at a high-society wedding, according to \u201cPage Six.\u201d<\/a> She split from Jonas after four years of marriage and their divorce was finalized in September 2024.
