{"id":242555,"date":"2025-10-27T02:39:06","date_gmt":"2025-10-27T02:39:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/242555\/"},"modified":"2025-10-27T02:39:06","modified_gmt":"2025-10-27T02:39:06","slug":"3-arrested-1-at-large-following-etobicoke-robbery-collision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/242555\/","title":{"rendered":"3 arrested, 1 at-large following Etobicoke robbery, collision"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Three suspects have been arrested, while a third remains at-large following a collision involving police vehicles and a suspect vehicle that was allegedly fleeing a robbery in Etobicoke on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The incident happened in the Mimico-Queensway neighbourhood, near Kipling Avenue and The Queensway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Toronto police said they responded to a call for a robbery at a cell phone store in that area at 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">They say during the investigation, there was a crash involving police vehicles and a suspect vehicle. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Investigators said a civilian vehicle was also struck during the collision. The driver of that vehicle was uninjured, they said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Paramedics initially said two people were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">In a follow-up post on X, police said one suspect was transported to the hospital, while two officers were assessed by paramedics at the scene for minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/6UG5EO5WIJDB5G53MOA2A3K7UE.jpeg\"  width=\"800\" height=\"450\"\/>Robbery suspects collision Oct. 26 Etobicoke Two people have been taken to a local hospital with minor injuriesfollowing a collision involving police vehicles and a suspect vehicle that was allegedly fleeing a robbery near Kipling Avenue and The Queensway. (Tim Constable\/CP24) <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">People can expect a large police presence in that vicinity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Currently, northbound Kipling is closed at North Queen Street, while southbound Kipling is closed at Jutland Road.
