Her indie rate is steep, her conditions are locked, and there\u2019s one non-negotiable rule: she doesn\u2019t show up to lose.<\/p>\n

Promoters are shelling out $25,000 per appearance to have Mon\u00e9 wrestle<\/a> on their shows, and they\u2019re not calling her in unless she\u2019s walking out with with a win. That\u2019s not just a coincidence\u2014it\u2019s by design.<\/p>\n

According to Sean Ross Sapp during a Fightful Select Q&A<\/a>, Mon\u00e9\u2019s bookings are initiated by indie promotions looking to capitalize on her star power and the belt-collecting gimmick that comes with it. But the deal only gets done under specific terms.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I can tell you the bit of insight that I\u2019ve gained: she could, if they end up paying the rate that she asks for. And as best I know, people contact her management wanting the exposure of her working on their shows and winning their championships.\u201d<\/p>\n

Multiple promoters confirmed to Sapp that Mon\u00e9 won\u2019t work for a company unless she wins, and she doesn\u2019t demand full creative control\u2014because there\u2019s no scenario where she\u2019s booked to lose.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow, it\u2019s not just me saying this\u2014multiple indie promoters have also said this. They\u2019ve also indicated she doesn\u2019t have creative control there either, because you\u2019re not going to contact Mercedes Mon\u00e9 to come into your company and lose.\u201d<\/p>\n

AEW is also reportedly strict about her indie protection. She\u2019s not allowed to take a loss outside of AEW unless she loses there first. As for her fee, that $25,000 price tag is consistent with other top-tier names\/<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd AEW would not be okay with her taking an indie booking to lose\u2014unless she lost on AEW TV first. They\u2019re well aware that they\u2019re booking her to win it all on their own.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe price is negotiated, and then it\u2019s done. And as best I know, people contact her management wanting the exposure of her working on their shows and winning their championships. So, I mean, Mercedes is a certifiable draw for these companies\u2014like, it\u2019s been repeated many, many times.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mercedes Mon\u00e9\u2019s indie run isn\u2019t just about adding gold to her collection. It\u2019s a calculated, high-value operation\u2014one where every outcome is pre-approved, and every title win is part of a bigger play.<\/p>\n
