About how I worked every day to get better. About how I treated everyone around me. He\u2019s a brother to me,\u201d Bombers right guard Pat Neufeld said shortly after his team\u2019s19-10 win over the Alouettes. \u201cI love that guy and, more than a teammate, you feel for him as a human.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Streveler\u00a0dropped back to pass, but eventually decided rolling to his left was a better decision. The injury appeared to be non-contact in nature as Streveler fell to the turf at the Winnipeg 19-yard line trying to execute a cut move to his right, pushing off with his left leg with Montreal defensive end Isaac Adeyemi-Berglund closing in.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know exactly what happened, but he\u2019s hurt and he\u2019s emotional and losing him sucks,\u201d Neufeld said. \u201cHe\u2019s a huge part of our team and our identity.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n After Streveler spent several minutes on the turf, the medical staff assisted him to the sidelines, and eventually into the south end passageway that leads to the locker room. \u00a0<\/p>\n Advertisement 4<\/p>\n This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below.<\/p>\n Article content<\/p>\n After the game, Streveler was seen walking in the locker room with the assistance of crutches, not putting any weight on his left knee. He was not wearing a knee brace or a cast or any kind. He limped over and sat down in his stall next to Zach Collaros.
