Bambi and Pete Davidson are featured in this week\u2019s new horror movies, but unfortunately they\u2019re not sharing the screen in the same movie. They\u2019re joined by the at-home release of one of this year\u2019s best horror movies so far, along with a new Gill Man movie from Shudder.<\/p>\n

In the new indie monster movie from Uncork\u2019d Entertainment, \u201cOn their way to a family get-together, the Herring family are in a bad car accident, waking in a terrifying, dark basement. Something is there with them. And it craves human flesh.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bait was directed by Andrea M. Catinella, written by Sam Gurney.<\/p>\n

In the summer horror movie, \u201cTrapped on a killer\u2019s boat with hungry sharks circling below, a surfer must outwit a predator more dangerous than the ocean itself\u2014will she escape, or become the next offering to the deep? Sean Byrne returns with his third visceral feature.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the Shudder Exclusive movie, \u201cAfter being torpedoed by allied submarines, a Japanese soldier and a British POW are stranded on a deserted island and soon discover that they\u2019re being hunted by a ferocious mythological creature, the Orang Ikan.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Singapore-Indonesia-Japan-UK co-production is written and directed by\u00a0Mike Wiluan, whose producing credits include\u00a0Crazy Rich Asians\u00a0and\u00a0The Night Comes for Us.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Social media stars\u00a0Kris Collins\u00a0(AKA KallMeKris) and\u00a0Celina Myers (AKA CelinaSpookyBoo) star in House on Eden, which was released only in select theaters beginning today.<\/p>\n

The found footage horror film comes courtesy of RLJE Films and Shudder. Collins writes and directs in addition to starring alongside\u00a0Myers and\u00a0Jason-Christopher Mayer.<\/p>\n

In the film, \u201cParanormal investigators Kris, Celina, and their videographer Jay expect the usual scares when they set out on their latest case. But after being mysteriously rerouted to an abandoned house deep in the woods, they find themselves facing a force unlike anything they\u2019ve encountered before.<\/p>\n

The legendary\u00a0Linda Hamilton\u00a0(Terminator) is battling inhuman threats once more in Osiris, an alien creature feature that was released onto VOD outlets beginning today.<\/p>\n

The sci-fi horror movie follows a team of Special Forces commandos in the middle of an operation who are abducted by a mysterious spacecraft. When they wake up aboard the ship, they quickly discover they are being hunted by a merciless alien race.<\/p>\n

William Kaufman\u00a0(The Hit List) directs from a script he wrote with\u00a0Paul Reichelt. Makeup FX veteran\u00a0Todd Masters\u00a0(Sinister, Slither) handled the practical effects work for the film.<\/p>\n

Lou Diamond Phillips stars as a homicidal stage director tempted to give in to his killer instincts in Et Tu, a horror\/thriller\/dark comedy that\u2019s now available on VOD outlets<\/p>\n

Fathom screened Ick\u00a0in select theatres in New York and Los Angeles for a one-week theatrical run starting Thursday, July 24, before expanding to theaters\u00a0nationwide\u00a0July 27-29.<\/p>\n
