It wasn\u2019t because of poor performance, though \u2014 the Iowa Hawkeyes icon averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists, 1.6 steals and 2.2 triples per game, en route to being named an All-Star for a second straight season. Rather, it was multiple injuries that got in the way of Clark taking the league by storm again in her second year.<\/p>\n<p>The 6-foot guard was limited to just 13 games in 2025. For now, she is busy rehabbing her injury to be ready for her comeback when the new WNBA season starts in May.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from her road to recovery, Clark is also preoccupied with her off-court commitments during the offseason. This includes her responsibilities with the team, including some of the Fever\u2019s corporate partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, Clark, along with teammates Kelsey Mitchell and Aari McDonald, took part in a \u201csurprise\u201d talk for Indianapolis-based pharmaceutical brand Eli Lilly and Company. The Fever took to social media to share their cornerstone superstar\u2019s latest move off the court.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Aari McDonald visited\u00a0@elilillyco\u00a0for a surprise spotlight conversation with employees about teamwork, resiliency and pushing through challenges this season \ud83c\udfa4\ud83c\udfc0\u201d the team posted on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the post, Clark and her teammates participated in a forum discussion in front of the Eli Lilly and Company employees. However, it\u2019s only Clark, Aliyah Boston and rookie Makayla Timpson who are locked in for the 2026 season.
