{"id":245427,"date":"2025-10-28T10:46:08","date_gmt":"2025-10-28T10:46:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/245427\/"},"modified":"2025-10-28T10:46:08","modified_gmt":"2025-10-28T10:46:08","slug":"another-tna-champions-contract-set-to-expire-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/245427\/","title":{"rendered":"Another TNA Champion&#8217;s Contract Set To Expire \u2014 Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A <a href=\"http:\/\/wrestlezone.com\/tag\/tna-wrestling\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">TNA<\/a> champion\u2019s contract is set to expire toward the end of the year, according to a new report. <\/p>\n<p>According to a new report from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patreon.com\/posts\/title-holder-in-142209266\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select<\/a>, TNA International Champion <a href=\"http:\/\/wrestlezone.com\/tag\/steve-maclin\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Steve Maclin<\/a> will have his contract expire at the end of 2025. The report mentions that Maclin re-signed with TNA last year on a one-year deal. However, it\u2019s unclear what his status will be going forward.<\/p>\n<p>Maclin just recently re-won his title at TNA Bound For Glory, where he defeated Frankie Kazarian. He\u2019s been with the company for over four years now, and was with WWE for seven years prior to that. Fightful notes that Maclin is considered a \u201cpositive backstage presence,\u201d but no confirmation on his future is known as of now.<\/p>\n<p>Maclin has recently appeared on WWE NXT programming due to the TNA partnership.
