The finale of the NASCAR Cup Series season is here, as the stage is set for a thrilling championship-deciding race at Phoenix Raceway this coming Sunday.

In the penultimate race of the NASCAR season at Martinsville, William Byron won his way into the Championship 4. He’ll race against his teammate Kyle Larson and two Joe Gibbs Racing wheelmen in Denny Hamlin and Chase Briscoe. Only Larson has a championship to his name already.

Ahead of the green flag, BetMGM Sportsbook has released the latest odds. Check out where your favorite driver stands as NASCAR’s best prepare for Phoenix. All eyes will be on the Championship 4, but remember, you don’t have to win the race to win the championship, even if it’s become expected over the last decade.

Denny Hamlin (+375)

Denny Hamlin enters Phoenix as the prohibitive favorite. He’s never won a Cup Series title in his illustrious NASCAR career, but he’s among the best to ever grace the sport behind the wheel. His 60 wins are evidence of that, and a championship is the main from his mantle.

His last win at Phoenix came back in Nov. 2019. Earlier this season, he finished as the runner-up in the desert to his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate in Christopher Bell. This is the fifth appearance in the Championship 4, we’ll see if it’s the time he finally gets over the hump.

Kyle Larson (+425)

Kyle Larson is back in the Championship 4 for the third time. He won the championship back in his first appearance, which came in 2021. This hasn’t been his most dominant season, but his talent has been on full display throughout the playoffs, as he’s the lone driver in the Championship 4 who didn’t win his way in during the Round of 8.

Phoenix has always been one of his best tracks. His last win in the desert came in 2021, when he clinched his first career Cup Series title. It remains his lone win at the track, but he finished third at the venue earlier this season, right behind Denny Hamlin. We’ll see if he can win title No. 2 this weekend.

William Byron (+500)

(Ayrton Breckenridge/The Register / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images)

William Byron had to win his way into the Championship 4, and he’s back in Phoenix to race for the title for the third season in a row. After a dominant performance at Martinsville, perhaps this is the season he’s finally able to get over the hump, as he won’t have to deal with Team Penske at Phoenix this time around.

He does have a win at the track, but that came back in March of 2023. He finished sixth at the venue earlier this season, and he always has plenty of speed. Byron seems to be on a championship trajectory, but he has to finish the job. Maybe this is the year he gets it done.

Chase Briscoe (+600)

Chase Briscoe won his way into the Championship 4 at Talladega. That’s not to say he doesn’t deserve to be here. He’s been one of the more consistent wheelmen in the field since joining Joe Gibbs Racing, especially over the course of the second half of the season.

The No. 19 Toyota team has found a way to compete seemingly each and every week. Earlier this season though, Briscoe had trouble in the desert, as he finished P35 after starting P30. He does have a win at the track though, one that came back in March of 2022 when he was racing for Stewart-Haas Racing.

Ryan Blaney (+600)

Ryan Blaney fell agonizingly short at Martinsville. He was the only competitor with something for William Byron, but he had to settle for a runner-up finish in Virginia, as he narrowly missed out on returning to the Championship 4 to represent Team Penske.

Moving ahead to the final race of the season, perhaps Blaney can play a bit of spoiler in the desert. He’s actually never won at the track, but he does have four runner-up finishes. That’d be a strong way to end the season, even if he doesn’t win the championship for doing so.

Christopher Bell (+900)

Mark J. Rebilas-Imagn Images

Christopher Bell didn’t have the car to win in Martinsville, but he didn’t have to. He simply had to beat Kyle Larson on points, but he couldn’t get the job done, as the Hendrick Motorsports star bested him in Virginia.

All isn’t lost for Bell. He can still sweep the season at Phoenix, as he won at the track earlier this season. He’ll be hoping one of his two Joe Gibbs Racing teammates can win the championship, but Bell has plenty to race for in his own right, as well.

Joey Logano (+1200)

Joey Logano couldn’t play the system this time around. His bid at repeating as champion in the NASCAR Cup Series fell short in the Round of 8. Still, he’ll do what he can to fight for one more win at Phoenix this weekend.

Of course, Logano won at the track last season, when he notched championship No. 3. He can gain some serious momentum for another even-year run with a win this weekend in Arizona.

Chase Elliott (+1500)

Chase Elliott watched as two of his Hendrick teammates made the Championship 4 in Martinsville. His trouble at Talladega doomed his playoff run, and the former Cup Series champion won’t have an opportunity at No. 2 this coming Sunday.

Now, Elliott will hope to send his large fanbase home happy with a win at Phoenix. He’s won there one time in the past, so another dub in the desert would be a perfect way for him to end his season, one where he proved once again he’s to be mentioned among the best in the Cup Series.

NASCAR Odds for Phoenix continued:

Tyler Reddick (+2000)

Josh Berry (+2200)

Ross Chastain (+3000)

Bubba Wallace (+3500)

Kyle Busch (+3500)

Alex Bowman (+4000)

Chris Buescher (+4000)

Carson Hocevar (+4000)

Austin Cindric (+4000)

Brad Keselowski (+5000)

Ty Gibbs (+6000)

Ryan Preece (+8000)

Erik Jones (+8000)

Austin Dillon (+8000)

Noah Gragson (+20000)

Daniel Suarez (+20000)

Michael McDowell (+20000)

Justin Haley (+20000)

Zane Smith (+25000)

John H. Nemechek (+35000)

Todd Gilliland (+35000)

Ricky Stenhouse Jr (+50000)

AJ Allmendinger (+50000)

Shane van Gisbergen (+50000)

Cole Custer (+100000)

Ty Dillon (+100000)

Riley Herbst (+200000)

Cody Ware (+200000)

DISCLAIMER: This site is 100% for entertainment purposes only and does not involve real money betting.

The content provided in this article is intended for entertainment purposes only.
