The 2025 NFL trade deadline is nearing, and the New England Patriots might be approaching it differently than the last few seasons. After all, they are well on their way to returning to the playoffs after a three-year absence.<\/p>\n
Despite their 6-2 record, however, there is no guarantee they fall into the \u201cbuyers\u201d camp this time around. With some players underperforming relative to expectation or past showings, they very well might also be willing to part ways with some of their talent before the trading window closes on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 4 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n
One thing seems certain, though. The Patriots under Mike Vrabel, Eliot Wolf and Ryan Cowden are not afraid of making unconventional-looking moves or being active on the trade market. So far this year, after all, they already parted ways with some established veterans, were aggressive in their pursuit of free agency talent, and traded away three of their players (DT Davon Godchaux, QB Joe Milton III, WR Ja\u2019Lynn Polk).<\/p>\n
