The rookie right-hander will start Game 5 of the World Series on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Blue Jays announced Tuesday prior to Game 4.<\/p>\n
It will be the fifth start of the playoffs and second of the World Series for the 22-year-old Yesavage, who made his MLB debut in September and had just three major-league starts before the post-season.<\/p>\n
Yesavage is 2-1 with a 4.26 ERA in 19 innings during the post-season. All four previous playoff starts have come at Rogers Centre.<\/p>\n
The six-foot-four East Carolina product started Game 1 of the World Series against the Dodgers, going four innings while giving up two runs on four hits and three walks. The Blue Jays eventually won the game 11-4, feasting on the Dodgers bullpen.<\/p>\n
