Referees blew the whistle on the play for forward progress.<\/p>\n Giants pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux knocked the ball from the hands of Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.<\/a> Thibodeaux emerged from the turf with the ball, but referees ruled that the quarterback\u2019s forward progress had stalled, meaning no change of possession occurred.<\/p>\n 2025 NFL POWER RANKINGS WEEK 9: WHO’S THE BEST TEAM IN THE AFC?<\/a><\/p>\n An in-game video replay appeared to show Hurts continuing to be pushed forward by a teammate. Under current rules, the play is not eligible for review. (Kirby Lee\/magn Images)<\/p>\n The NFL does have an expedited review system, which is intended to quickly correct clear and obvious mistakes.<\/p>\n “The NFL must get rid of these categories that are \u2018non-reviewable!\u2019 You can\u2019t have New York jumping and change plays saying \u2018expedited review told us\u2026\u2019 \u2014 and then have obvious misses that go unchanged. That\u2019s what the review process was put in for. We had a couple in our GB-Pitt game and it\u2019s terrible.
