After missing Saturday’s game against the Buffalo Sabres with a lower-body injury, the first regular-season game he had missed since April 4, 2022, Nylander was a game-time decision heading into Tuesday’s contest. But after taking pre-game warmups, the 29-year-old got the green light to return to action.<\/p>\n
In his first eight games of the season, Nylander recorded three goals and 11 assists.<\/p>\n
Nylander originally suffered the initial injury on Friday. He exited with 5:51 remaining in the third period of the first half of the home-and-home against the Sabres and did not return for another shift.<\/p>\n
