Health Minister Josie Osborne says she continues to have confidence in Interior Health\u2019s leadership under newly-appointed president and CEO Sylvia Weir.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe leadership team at Interior Health has my full confidence,\u201d Osborne said. \u201cThis is a health authority that continues to do the work, and I\u2019ll continue to support them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Osborne confirmed that recruitment efforts are underway in both Kamloops and Vernon to fill the vacancies left by the recent resignations, with four psychiatrists and three obstetricians having already signed offer letters.<\/p>\n<p>Story continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Nijjar says these issues aren\u2019t unique to British Columbia.
