{"id":247415,"date":"2025-10-29T07:56:10","date_gmt":"2025-10-29T07:56:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/247415\/"},"modified":"2025-10-29T07:56:10","modified_gmt":"2025-10-29T07:56:10","slug":"fia-confirm-findings-from-2024-cost-cap-review","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/247415\/","title":{"rendered":"FIA confirm findings from 2024 Cost Cap review"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\">The FIA have confirmed that its review of the F1 teams\u2019 and power unit manufacturers\u2019 compliance with the 2024 Financial Regulations has been completed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\">As part of the review by the Cost Cap Administration (CCA) \u2013 a process spanning seven months \u2013 all 10 Formula 1 teams and all five power unit (PU) manufacturers submitted financial documentation from 2024.<\/p>\n<p class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\">No team or power unit manufacturer was found to have exceeded the Cost Cap level.<\/p>\n<p class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\">A statement from the FIA said that all \u201cgave their full support in providing the required information. The CCA notes that all F1 teams and all PU manufacturers acted at all times in a spirit of good faith and co-operation throughout the process.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\">The review found that while nine teams and all five power unit manufacturers were in compliance for 2024, a procedural breach was identified for <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" data-f1rd-a7s-click=\"rich_text_atom_click\" data-f1rd-a7s-context=\"eyJhY3Rpb25UeXBlIjoiQXN0b24gTWFydGluX2xpbmtfY2xpY2tlZCIsImNsaWNrVGV4dCI6dHJ1ZSwicGF0aCI6Imh0dHBzOi8vd3d3LmZvcm11bGExLmNvbS9lbi90ZWFtcy9hc3Rvbi1tYXJ0aW4iLCJwYXRoVHlwZSI6ImludGVybmFsIn0=\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/teams\/aston-martin\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Aston Martin<\/a>, with the FIA stating that the team have \u201cnot exceeded the Cost Cap level, and that the procedural breach was of a very minor nature, originated by unpredictable circumstances outside the control of the F1 team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\">As a result, the Cost Cap Administration offered an Accepted Breach Agreement to Aston Martin to resolve the matter.
