Bo Bichette<\/a> is focused solely on trying to win a World Series with the Toronto Blue Jays<\/a>, even as it comes with significant risk to his future.<\/p>\n

Bichette returned for Game 1 after missing seven weeks with a knee injury and remains less than 100 per cent as he plays out the final games of his expiring contract. Any further injury could significantly impact his next deal.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll risk it all,\u201d Bichette told Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic of playing hurt. <\/a><\/p>\n

The 27-year-old has four hits, a run and two RBI in 11 at-bats over the first four games of the World Series. Tuesday\u2019s win marked Bichette\u2019s first full game as he moved into the designated hitter role with George Springer<\/a> injured the day prior.<\/p>\n

He started Games 1 and 3 at second base – his first career MLB starts at the position – and came into Game 2 as a pinch hitter before finishing the final innings at second base. <\/p>\n

Bichette admitted his health will not improve as long as he continues to play.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not really expecting to make huge progress while I\u2019m playing,\u201d Bichette said. \u201cI\u2019m doing what I can.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bichette hit a career-best .311 in the regular season with 18 home runs and 94 RBI. <\/p>\n
