TJ Dillashaw has given his opinion on Tom Aspinall<\/a>\u2018s withdrawal from the UFC 321 main event in a statement that is shrouded in irony.<\/p>\n

Unless you\u2019ve been living under a rock since the weekend, you\u2019ll be aware that the UFC 321<\/a> main event was deemed a no-contest after just 4:35 of the first round, after Ciryl Gane poked Tom Aspinall<\/a> in the eye, rendering him unable to see.<\/p>\n

A number of prominent names in the world of MMA have given their opinion on the matter, with differing opinions. From Belal Muhammad (who knows a lot about eye pokes) to Anthony Smith, many pros have weighed in. Ultimately, Aspinall is the only one who knows truly how bad the eye poke is and for a man who has fought, been injured heading into fights, hurt and given everything to the sport, we can assume he isn\u2019t lying about this one.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s not forget, Gane isn\u2019t getting much of the heat, despite being the man who committed the foul\u2026<\/p>\n

Ironically, fellow (proven) cheater, TJ Dillashaw has questioned the legitimacy of Aspinall\u2019s injury.<\/p>\n

TJ Dillashaw Not Convinced by Aspinall\u2019s Injury Claims<\/p>\n

Talking on the Jaxxon Podcast<\/a>, TJ Dillashaw stated that the Frenchman was \u201cmore calculated\u201d than Aspinall, continuing to say, \u201cI really believe that\u2019s why Aspinall didn\u2019t come back from that eye poke\u201d.<\/p>\n

He went on to say, \u201cthe way it looked \u2013 his eye was closed when he got poked in it, he was saying he couldn\u2019t see but wasn\u2019t even trying to open his eye\u201c.<\/p>\n

The former champion, Dillashaw also compared Aspinall to other fighters he\u2019s seen suffer the same fate, \u201cObviously I have no idea, I\u2019m not there. But you see the pictures afterwards and his eye looks fine. I\u2019ve seen a whole finger go in someone\u2019s eye and they keep fighting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dillashaw Makes Ludicrous Claim<\/p>\n

In one of the most ludicrous claims throughout the podcast made by TJ Dillashaw, the former bantamweight champion claimed that the heavyweight champion didn\u2019t want to tough it out.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like he might have taken the easy way out.\u201d<\/p>\n

A damning statement from a man who took performance enhancing drugs to try and get the edge on his opponent\u2026<\/p>\n

Dillashaw<\/a> was found guilty of having taken PEDs, specifically erythropoietin (a synthetic form of EPO), which cannot be ingested by accident. He chose to cheat and now he\u2019s supporting a fellow cheater in Gane.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s well worth noting that Gane\u2019s actions are nowhere close to those of Dillashaw.<\/p>\n
