Brad Pitt filed court docs once again asking a judge to force his ex-wife Angelina Jolie to turn over private emails<\/a> in their lengthy court battle.<\/p>\n

Pitt and Jolie have been battling over their French winery, Ch\u00e2teau Miravel<\/a> \u2014 which they purchased when they were married \u2014 since February 2022. In new court docs obtained by Page Six, the actor asked the judge to force Jolie to turn over her emails with her business manager,\u00a0Terry Bird, her British publicists,\u00a0Chloe Dalton\u00a0and\u00a0Arminka Helic, as well as two financial consultants.<\/p>\n

The \u201cF1\u201d star stated in the docs that Jolie previously admitted in her own declaration that she regularly had conversations with Bird about \u201call aspects\u201d of her business and professional life, including conversations about legal matters.<\/p>\n

Jolie has refused to turn over their email communications, per Pitt\u2019s request.<\/p>\n

The \u201cF1\u201d star asked the judge to force Jolie to turn over her emails with her business manager,\u00a0Terry Bird, her British publicists,\u00a0Chloe Dalton\u00a0and\u00a0Arminka Helic, as well as two financial consultants, in court docs obtained by Page Six. WireImage<\/p>\n

\u201c[Jolie admitted] Bird \u2018helped [her] identify additional issues on which to seek advice,’\u201d the docs stated. \u201cWhat Jolie is describing here are brainstorming sessions between non-lawyers. The fact that these brainstorming sessions may have followed or preceded advice from a lawyer on the same general topic or a related topic does not shield them from discovery.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c[Jolie] has still produced only one internal email that even mentions the terms of the sale at the center of this case,\u201d he also stated in the docs.<\/p>\n

According to Pitt, the missing emails contain Bird\u2019s communications \u201cdiscussing the terms of the sale of her interest in Chateau Miraval to the Stoli Parties\u2014 the key transaction at issue in this litigation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pitt also asked the judge to shut down Jolie\u2019s demand that he pay her $33,000<\/a> \u2014 the amount Jolie asked the court to order him to pay her to cover her attorneys\u2019 fees to oppose his original motion for her to turn over her private emails.<\/p>\n

Jolie previously stated that she did not have to turn over the emails since it involved her discussing legal matters with others.<\/p>\n

The actress\u2019 lawyer, Paul Murphy, accused Pitt of \u201cinvading her privileged communications with her lawyers\u201d in a statement to Page Six.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis once again confirms that this lawsuit is the manifestation of Mr. Pitt\u2019s years-long effort to harass and control Angelina,\u201d Murphy stated.<\/p>\n

In the \u201cMaleficent\u201d star\u2019s Oct. 9 court filing obtained by Page Six, her lawyers explained why they were demanding Pitt pay her $33,000 in attorney fees.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cJolie, through counsel, repeatedly asked Pitt to withdraw [the motion],\u201d her lawyers argued in the docs. \u201cShe even warned him numerous times that if the Court denied Pitt\u2019s motion, Jolie would ask the Court to order Pitt to pay Jolie\u2019s attorneys\u2019 fees opposing the motion.\u201d<\/p>\n

The attorneys continued, \u201cPitt still refused to withdraw it. Jolie thus requests that the Court order Pitt to reimburse her for the substantial attorneys\u2019 fees she was forced to incur.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pitt is\u00a0suing Jolie for her stake<\/a>\u00a0in the lavish French property, as he claimed she sold her share to the wine division of the Stoli Group without his permission.
