Emmerdale’s newest bad boy Kev Townsend<\/a> turns nasty yet again tonight as he issues another chilling threat to Aaron Dingle. With their battle for Robert Sugden’s affections escalating, is Aaron in serious danger?<\/p>\n

Aaron’s best friend Mackenzie Boyd is responsible for inflaming the ongoing tensions as he remains determined to defend his mate. However, taking on ruthless Kev<\/a> seems like a war that he’ll never be able to win…<\/p>\n

Mack gets a brainwave when his on-off rival Ross Barton scares him in the village with a hockey mask, seemingly full of the Halloween spirit.<\/p>\n

Deciding to deal with two problems in one go, Mack slyly frames Kev for breaking the wing mirror on Ross’s car. He hopes that a high-stakes feud between Kev and Ross will see the two hardmen ultimately destroy each other \u2013 without him having to get his hands dirty.<\/p>\n

The inevitable happens as Ross and Kev clash angrily at The Woolpack, although they soon realise that they’ve been played by Mack. This unfortunate discovery soon has implications for Aaron too, as dangerous Kev blames him for involving Mack in the first place.<\/p>\n

During another sinister visit to Aaron’s flat, Kev reminds him: “I warned you \u2013 if you try and ruin my marriage, I’ll ruin you. Do you not think I was serious?<\/p>\n

“Getting your mate to do what you won’t do yourself? Pathetic.”<\/p>\n

He adds: “It must be your lucky day, because I don’t give second chances.<\/p>\n

“But I swear to God, if you come after me and Robert again, and that luck will run out. Have I made myself clear?”<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Robert urged Aaron<\/a> to deal with Kev’s presence in the village for the short time he has left.<\/p>\n

As Kev is terminally ill<\/a>, Robert is looking forward to receiving a \u00a3250,000 inheritance payment once his husband dies \u2013 which would set him and Aaron up for a stable future together in the long-run.<\/p>\n

Chris Coghill, who plays Kev, recently said: “Kev is unhinged. There are genuine feelings there [for Robert], but they’re not quite what they should be.<\/p>\n

“He’s an incredibly dangerous person. Kev wouldn’t have any qualms about physically attacking anybody, apart from possibly Robert.<\/p>\n

“One day I can be a psychopath and the next day I’m doing something quite touching like baking cakes.”<\/p>\n
