Week 9’s “Thursday Night Football” tilt features a pair of the 2025 season’s most disappointing performers.<\/p>\n
Tipped to potentially contend for a Super Bowl bid, the Baltimore Ravens<\/a> have tumbled down the AFC North standings, dropping five of their first seven games. They have been felled by familiar issues \u2014 injuries, untimely turnovers and a general lack of discipline that has followed the team like a shadow in recent years.<\/p>\n A slight reprieve could be on the horizon; star QB Lamar Jackson returns to action after a three-game absence due to a hamstring injury.<\/p>\n The two-time MVP will be greeted by quite the sight when he takes the field on Thursday. The Miami Dolphins<\/a> will have the challenge of attempting to corral the gifted hurler, a task they’ve struggled to achieve across four matchups.<\/p>\n Jackson has posted a perfect 158.3 passer rating in two of his four matchups against Miami. He fell just short of the mark in a 2022 clash. Simply, when Jackson sees his hometown team, he tends to see food.
