Cleveland Browns<\/a> tight end David Njoku could be the most likely trade candidate to find a new home as the NFL trade deadline nears. These ideas were only perpetuated when the Browns signed not one, but two tight ends <\/a>within the past week, with the November 4 deadline approaching.<\/p>\n

The Browns, who have already made multiple trades this season, are reportedly not extremely active at the deadline. However, Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer did report that Njoku is the player to watch. Breer states that while the Browns are not actively shopping their Pro Bowl tight end, the right offer could come along for them to accept.<\/p>\n

Breer also reports that there is a desire to “do right by” Njoku, a first round pick of the Browns in 2017 and a player who has grown and developed in Cleveland. Here is what the NFL insider had to say<\/a> on the possibility of the Browns dealing their long-time tight end, who is playing out the last year of his contract with the team:<\/p>\n

“The Browns aren\u2019t aggressively working the phones to sell off pieces, but tight end David Njoku looks like a name to watch, if Cleveland gets a firm offer and Njoku signs off on the idea\u2014the team would want to do right by him.”<\/p>\n
