The Toronto Blue Jays<\/a> lead the Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a> 3-2 in the World Series.<\/p>\n

After splitting the first two games of the Fall Classic in Toronto, an 18-inning Game 3 went to the Dodgers in thrilling walk-off fashion, but since that fateful Freddie Freeman swing, the Dodgers have been outscored, 12-3, in the next two games.<\/p>\n

Despite the offensive skid in their final two home games of the year, Dodgers catcher Will Smith believes in his team’s ability to pull out two wins in what should be a boisterous crowd at the Rogers Centre for Game 6 (and 7 if necessary). <\/p>\n

\u201cWe trust each other. We believe we\u2019re the best team in baseball,\u201d Smith said. \u201cWe\u2019ve had our backs against the wall a lot this year. Fighting through injuries, fighting through expectations and all that. This is a tough group, and I got no problem going in there and winning two games, and we\u2019ll be ready for that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Dodgers finished the regular season with 244 home runs, 791 RBIs, and a .787 collective OPS, all of which led the National League. So far in the World Series, they have a collective .201 batting average (to the Blue Jays’ .261) and a .650 OPS (to the Blue Jays’ .730).<\/p>\n

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts shook up the lineup ahead of Game 5 in an effort to <\/a>inject some life into the offense, moving Smith up to the No. 2 spot and having Mookie Betts bat third. The two went 1-for-8, with the lone hit being a ninth-inning single by the backstop. <\/p>\n

Smith is batting .238 in the Fall Classic thus far, while Betts is hitting .130. <\/p>\n

Dodgers right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto will be starting Game 6, and after coming off consecutive complete games, LA should have a reason to be confident in their ace. His last two starts consisted of 18 innings, 15 strikeouts, one walk, and two earned runs. <\/p>\n

Regardless of whether the Dodgers are the best team in baseball or not, in order to be crowned champions, they will need to win both their games in Canada. <\/p>\n
