Davis Alexander is set to start against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for the first time in his career on Saturday afternoon in the East Semi-Final. The young quarterback is looking forward to the challenge and isn\u2019t backing down from messages sent by the opposition.<\/p>\n

Winnipeg defensive end Willie Jefferson said in an interview with the Blue Bombers\u2019 website<\/a> earlier this week that his team needed to have a villain attitude, stating they\u2019ve got to be able to go to somebody\u2019s house, \u201ckick their door and take everything off their table.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alexander responded to Jefferson when asked about the comment during his Friday media availability<\/a>\u00a0by a Winnipeg reporter.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe see everything that they say,\u201d he said. \u201cWe don\u2019t pay attention too much to it, but when I go back home, I go and look at that stuff. Bring Willie over, bring Winnipeg over. What does he say? Come on down to Winnipeg. Well, come on down to Montreal \u2014 let\u2019s see what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Gig Harbor, Wash. native finished the season completing 72.5 percent of his passes for 2,024 yards, 10 touchdowns, and three interceptions. He hasn\u2019t started a playoff game since his senior year in high school but feels ready to go and wants to prove he\u2019s more than a regular-season player.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope they come after me, I\u2019m built for it. If they don\u2019t believe me, they\u2019ll find out,\u201d he added in a TSN interview<\/a>. \u201cWe\u2019ve been really good in the regular season offensively when I\u2019ve been out there playing. It doesn\u2019t matter. Nobody is gonna remember the regular season masterclass guy \u2014 you\u2019ve gotta be that guy in the playoffs, you\u2019ve gotta be a killer and you gotta go and find a way to win no matter what it takes.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Montreal Alouettes also answered to Willie Jefferson\u2019s comments on social media.<\/p>\n

The team used some video clips of UFC legend Georges St-Pierre from a media conference before a fight. St-Pierre alluded to his opponent as bring \u201ccrazy in his head\u201d and that he will \u201cfind out Saturday.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clearly, the table is set for an intense battle between these two teams.<\/p>\n

The Montreal Alouettes (10-8) will host the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (10-8) in the East Semi-Final at Percival Molson Stadium on Saturday, November 1 with kickoff slated for 2:00 p.m. EDT. The two teams met at Princess Auto Stadium in the final week of the regular season as the Blue Bombers came away with a 19-10 victory<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The weather forecast in Montreal calls for a high of 8 degrees with a mix of sun and cloud. The game will be broadcast on TSN, RDS, and CTV in Canada and CFL+ internationally. Radio listeners can tune-in on 680 CJOB in Winnipeg and TSN 690 in Montreal.<\/p>\n
