noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Danielle Smith<\/a> is calling on the federal government to invoke the Charter\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/globalnews.ca\/tag\/notwithstanding-clause\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">notwithstanding clause<\/a> to overturn a Supreme Court ruling on child sexual abuse and exploitation materials.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" Carney\u2019s government to immediately invoke the clause.<\/p>\n<p>The rarely used stipulation gives governments the authority to override constitutional rights for up to five years on the grounds of
