Playing against Sascha is always a special occasion, and today he was clearly not 100 per cent, we saw that.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was struggling physically. He won an incredible match yesterday, two match points down\u2026 Making the final in Vienna, coming here and making the semis again, it\u2019s an incredible run, but we all hope that he gets better and fit for Turin.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>By extending his winning streak on indoor hard courts to 25 matches, Sinner set a championship-match meeting with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/felix-auger-aliassime\/ag37\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Felix Auger-Aliassime<\/a>. The 24-year-old Italian is into his ninth ATP Masters 1000 final, and third of the season after falling short to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/carlos-alcaraz\/a0e2\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Carlos Alcaraz<\/a> in Rome and Cincinnati.<\/p>\n<p>Zverev now faces a quick turnaround to be fit for his campaign at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/tournaments\/nitto-atp-finals\/605\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nitto ATP Finals<\/a>, where he is a two-time champion. He owns a 54-23 record this year, highlighted by his title in Munich and run to his third major final at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/tournaments\/australian-open\/580\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Australian Open<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sinner is just 100 points behind Alcaraz in the PIF ATP Live Rankings and would reclaim the World No. 1 spot if he wins the title on Sunday. He is level with Auger-Aliassime at 2-2 in their Lexus ATP Head2Head series, having won their two latest meetings in Cincinnati and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/tournaments\/us-open\/560\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">US Open<\/a> this year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe plays incredible tennis at the moment, he has improved a lot,\u201d Sinner said of Auger-Aliassime. \u201cEspecially in the past months, he has found his game again. I\u2019m looking forward to it tomorrow, it\u2019s a great occasion for both of us. I\u2019m very happy for Felix, he is one of the nicest guys we have on Tour. It\u2019s going to be a very difficult match.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sinner has reached the final in nine of the 11 tournaments in which he has competed in this year, including victories at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/tournaments\/australian-open\/580\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Australian Open<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/tournaments\/wimbledon\/540\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wimbledon<\/a>.
