WINONA, Minn. \u2013 The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s soccer team battled the Saint Mary’s University Cardinals on the road Saturday afternoon in the final game of the regular season. The Gusties scored thrice in the opening half while holding the Cardinals scoreless in a 3-0 victory. With a 6-3-1 conference record, Gustavus secured the No. 4 seed in the MIAC Playoffs and will host a quarterfinal match on Monday. \nIn Saturday’s season finale, Joe Flory<\/a> put the Gusties on the board in the 21st minute with a goal assisted by Ryder Tomlinson<\/a>. Flory scored again just seven minutes later, with Will Clark<\/a> assisting, to double the lead for Gustavus with his team-leading 13th goal of the season.<\/p>\n
