The event was scheduled for Friday, Nov. 14, at Miami\u2019s Kaseya Center, <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2025\/tv\/news\/jake-paul-gervonta-davis-fight-canceled-netflix-1236569098\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Variety<\/a> reports. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"G32KNKCZXBE55DSDIVAQVNZYI4\">The cancellation comes in the wake of a lawsuit filed against Davis last week. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/go.skimresources.com?id=126006X1587339&amp;xs=1&amp;xcust=saxelrod%7C&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.espn.com%2Fboxing%2Fstory%2F_%2Fid%2F46839317%2Fjake-paul-gervonta-davis-exhibition-fight-nov-canceled&amp;product_category=Error+receiving+request%2C+due+to+product+categorization+API+overload.+Please+retry+your+classification.\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ESPN<\/a>, Davis\u2019s ex-girlfriend Courtney Rossel accused the boxer of battery, aggravated battery, false imprisonment, kidnapping and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Representatives for Davis did not respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"GGHSTFNB5JGZTPZ65P5VSGBGZQ\">\u201cOur team has worked closely with all parties to navigate this situation responsibly,\u201d MVP CEO Nakisa Bidarian said in a statement Monday. \u201cWhile we will not be moving forward with this event, our plan still remains for Jake Paul to headline an event on Netflix in 2025.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"5PTMDRZ7PVHBDENPS37LHAMNWA\">According to Variety, the match was set to be live-streamed worldwide on Netflix, following the streaming service\u2019s success with Paul\u2019s previous fight. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"PB5IRRAPYJFF3IJZEDLWXCQLJY\">Last year, Netflix streamed Paul\u2019s record-breaking bout against Mike Tyson. Netflix said the event drew an estimated average audience of 108 million live viewers globally, which makes it the most-streamed sporting event to date, the report said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"FYHNFH6GKJD6XGYJJX5PGYMH24\">Bidarian said details regarding a new date, location, Paul\u2019s opponent and additional fights on the card will be shared once they are finalized, the Variety report said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"MMZGG3HZGZHTVEP4T6YII7J7FY\">Fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster for the Paul vs. Davis fight will receive automatic refunds through their original point of purchase within 14-21 days, according to MVP.<\/p>\n<p>If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
