Halsey<\/a> experienced a “minor medical emergency” in Boston, she revealed on Monday, Nov. 3.\n<\/p>\n On Monday, Nov. 3, Halsey, 31, who goes by she\/they pronouns, shared an Instagram Stories<\/a> post from Mass General Hospital regarding their health. “Boston I’m gonna be honest with ya, after the show last night I was in the ER till 6 this morning,” they began the story post, which featured a selfie of half of their face with their hair in a towel. “Minor medical emergency but I am A-Okay now and ready to rock tonight! but if I’m pacing myself, that’s why!”\n<\/p>\n She continued, “Huge shout out to Mass General and Dr Kian, Dr Victoria and my nurses Carolyn and Alicia for being the absolute best team I’ve ever met. And I second that with regard to the imaging staff, transport team, and patient relations!! I am so so grateful! LETS ROCK TONIGHT!”\n<\/p>\n Halsey posted that they had a minor medical emergency.<\/p>\n Halsey\/Instagram<\/p>\n As of Monday evening, Halsey is scheduled to return to the stage at MGM Music Hall in Boston for their second performance in the city. She did not specify what the medical emergency was.\n<\/p>\n The minor medical emergency came a month after the “Ego” singer shared a different health update. In a\u00a0TikTok<\/a>\u00a0clip posted on Sept. 26, she revealed she’d just undergone chemotherapy, which came after being\u00a0diagnosed with Lupus SLE and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder<\/a>\u00a0in 2022.\n<\/p>\n “Just coming on here to give you guys another speed round of updates. [I] just did another few sessions of chemo,” Hasley said at the time, adding, “[I] had a new port placed.”\n<\/p>\n “A chemo port is a small, implantable device that attaches to a vein (usually in your upper chest area). It allows healthcare providers to draw blood and give treatments \u2014 including chemotherapy drugs \u2014 without a needle stick. There is currently no cure for the disease, per the\u00a0Mayo Clinic<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n According to\u00a0Healthline<\/a>, lymphoproliferative disorders are a group of diseases characterized by the uncontrolled production of white blood cells called lymphocytes. T-cell disorders include leukemia and lymphoma.\n<\/p>\n The Grammy nominee is currently on their\u00a0Back to Badlands international tour<\/a>, which honors the 10th anniversary of her hit debut album Badlands.<\/p>\n
