Etcheverry might be the far more highly ranked player, but on a hard court, the difference in level and ability on paper is quite small. McDonald certainly has enough ability to pull through and should at least make this a very tough encounter for Etcheverry. Still, ultimately, the Argentine is the more solid and consistent player at the moment and should be able to pull through here.<\/p>\n

Marcos Giron vs Pedro Martinez<\/p>\n
Head-to-head: first meeting<\/p>\n
Both players are going through terrible streaks at the moment, with Martinez losing his last six matches and Giron his last seven. This is basically the last opportunity for both to end the season on a good note, and both will be trying their best to do so. On clay, it would be a completely different story, but on an indoor hard court, Giron has an obvious edge on paper and should prevail here.<\/p>\n
