Jake Paul isn\u2019t holding back on how he feels after cancelling<\/a> his latest Netflix spectacle against Gervonta Davis due to some pretty heinous allegations<\/a> from \u201cTank\u2019s\u201d ex-girlfriend.<\/p>\n

Courtney Rossel filed a lawsuit against Davis last week accusing the WBA lightweight champion of battery, aggravated battery, false imprisonment, kidnapping, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The filing includes a lot of details on how Davis allegedly assaulted her and threatened to kill her. After that (and lackluster interest in the form of weak ticket sales),<\/a> Most Valuable Promotions decided to pull the plug on the event.<\/p>\n

\u201cGervonta Davis is an actual walking human piece of garbage,\u201d Paul wrote on X (formerly Twitter). \u201cWorking with him is an absolute nightmare. The unprofessionalism, the bizarre requests, the showing up hours late to shoots. To the numerous arrests and related accusations and lawsuits. If you support this man, you support the most vile sin a man can commit.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t want to give this woman abuser a platform to grow his fans and to grow his bank account,\u201d Paul continued. \u201cMy company champions women. I\u2019m so sorry to everyone involved. Mostly to the under-card fighters, to my team at MVP and to my team who worked so hard prepping for this fight. Sacrificing time with loved ones and kids just for this fool to lose his unintelligent mind again. It\u2019s scary that devilish men like this can rise to the top of culture and sports, including in positions of power.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope you people moving forward look beyond his fake streetwear pieces \u2018SWAG\u2019 and search for something deeper to be a fan of,\u201d he concluded. \u201cAs for me, it\u2019s on to the next one as always. Anyone. Anytime. Any place.\u201d<\/p>\n

The current plan from MVP is to move the Paul fight to mid-December against an opponent TBD. Numerous names have been floated from Ryan Garcia<\/a> to Francis Ngannou,<\/a> but few are saying yes to a fight against \u201cThe Problem Child.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nate Diaz said yes,<\/a> but there\u2019s little interest in a rematch after the poor showing Diaz delivered in their 2022 fight. Paul is stuck having to try and thread a needle, finding someone that will appeal to mainstream Netflix audiences that also won\u2019t beat his ass into the canvas.<\/p>\n

Most of Paul\u2019s past opponents have been older, smaller, or less-experienced in boxing. Can he find someone with juice that he can beat on such a short timeline?
