After Jayson Tatum tore his Achilles in the playoffs, the Celtics have been in mini-teardown mode.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Brad Stevens has effectively broken up the team\u2019s 2024 championship core, sending out Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis. Meanwhile, the team has already lost Luke Kornet in free agency and is likely to lose Al Horford as well.<\/p>\n<p>Simply looking at the team\u2019s departures, there is a clear issue with the team going into next season. The Celtics\u2019 lack of capable frontcourt players could easily be their downfall next season.<\/p>\n<p>As Jaylen Brown and Derrick White will look to carry the brunt of the load on the wing, <a href=\"https:\/\/bleacherreport.com\/articles\/25228700-5-nba-rosters-make-zero-sense\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Bleacher Report;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Bleacher Report<\/a>\u2019s Dan Favale recently tabbed Boston as one of the league\u2019s most confusing rosters because of the rest of the lineup.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeantown&#8217;s 4-5 rotation is currently populated by Sam Hauser, Georges Niang, Xavier Tillman, Neemias Queta, Josh Minnott and Luka Garza,\u201d Favale wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>While it could be easy to still be talked into the Celtics because of their star power with the 2024 Finals MVP running the show, everything else seems like a mess. Considering Boston wants to be back in contention upon Tatum\u2019s return, this will have to be a temporary mess.<\/p>\n<p>With 2027 in mind for any significant roster moves, there might not be an immediate path to fixing Boston\u2019s frontcourt.
