Many users online have been posting about how Crave has become a stuttering mess on a wide variety of Amazon\u2019s hardware since the last update a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n
Bell has told\u00a0MobileSyrup \u201cwe\u2019re aware of an issue affecting some Fire TV devices and our team is actively investigating and working toward a resolution. Crave continues to operate normally across all other supported devices. We\u2019ll share an update as soon as we have more to provide.\u201d We will be sure to update this story when a resolution is reached. <\/p>\n
That said, if you own an Amazon Fire TV or a Fire TV Stick, there is a high chance that the latest Crave update, roughly a month ago, has made your content freeze and stutter constantly.<\/p>\n
In the meantime, one thing you can do is cancel your Crave subscription and re-subscribe through Amazon Prime. Inside the Prime Video app, you can join various third-party streaming services, kind of like old-school TV channels. The plus side of this is that you can watch Crave\u2019s content through Amazon\u2019s app, which is working as of the time of writing. That being said, this doesn\u2019t excuse Crave for breaking the app on Fire TV and taking this long to fix it.<\/p>\n
We\u2019ve also asked Bell if any compensation will be provided to affected users and will update the story when we receive a response.<\/p>\n
Beyond the Fire TV app, which appears to be the most widespread and most extended of the bunch, there are lots of complaints over the past two weeks, including people on Xbox, a Samsung phone, Chromecasts, LG TVs and more.<\/p>\n
