Luckily for \u201cTSITP\u201d stans, Yale Breslin hosted Gavin Casalegno (Jeremiah Fisher) on the latest episode of his \u201cOffice Of Podcast!\u201d<\/p>\n

The show features <\/a>guests talking \u201ccandidly about what it means to be a man today.\u201d Couldn\u2019t be a better topic for the actor who created \u201cJere\u201d \u2014 the sometimes sensitive, sometimes rageful bisexual younger Fisher brother who got left at the alter by Belly Conklin, only to find himself in the aftermath.<\/p>\n

\u201cVulnerability in men is something I really advocate for \u2014 especially among my friends,\u201d Casalegno, 26, told Breslin. \u201cI\u2019m always encouraging people to open up.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt starts by leading through example,\u201d the star added, \u201cbecause vulnerability is often a trust issue. When you say, \u2018Here\u2019s my heart, here\u2019s what I\u2019m feeling,\u2019 it gives others permission to do the same. Suddenly, they\u2019re saying, \u2018I\u2019m struggling with that too.\u2019 That\u2019s where real connection and stronger relationships come from.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cTSITP\u201d star also told Breslin: \u201cThere\u2019s a quote I love and try to live by\u2026 \u2018to love something at all is to be vulnerable.\u2019 When you\u2019re not vulnerable, you start building walls \u2014 and eventually, you end up trapped inside them, unable to let anyone in. You don\u2019t become unbreakable\u2026 you just become hard. Your heart becomes hard.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom the start, I wanted\u00a0Kai Lo\u00a0to carry positive messaging and mindfulness \u2014 something with real purpose behind it,\u201d he told Breslin. \u201cOnce in New York, I was wearing a hoodie that said,\u00a0\u2018Your anxiety is lying to you.\u2019\u00a0An older man in a suit stopped me on the F train, said he liked my hoodie, and then started to cry. I stayed and talked with him, just listened. It was a reminder of how powerful vulnerability can be, especially for men. That moment showed me how something as simple as a message on a shirt can spark connection. That\u2019s what\u00a0Kai Lo is about \u2014 creating more of those real, human moments.\u201d<\/p>\n
