In the days before the election, Mamdani hit the clubs. A video has been circulating online of Mamdani requesting Kim Petras at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grubstreet.com\/2018\/05\/the-rooftop-at-elsewhere-opens-in-nyc.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Elsewhere<\/a>, only to flash his now iconic \u201cwelp\u201d smile when the DJ says they don\u2019t have any. Not even \u201cdemons\u201d for spooky season?<\/p>\n<p class=\"clay-paragraph\" data-editable=\"text\" data-uri=\"www.vulture.com\/_components\/clay-paragraph\/instances\/cmhmsj2vt000p3b78ziixxwbu@published\" data-word-count=\"100\">Petras retweeted the video, captioning it simply \u201cZohran MAMDANI\u201d with a purple heart emoji. She\u2019s just one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vulture.com\/article\/zohran-mamdani-celebrity-endorsements.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">dozens of celebs who endorsed Mamdani<\/a> in his run-up to Gracie Mansion. Lupita Nyong\u2019o shared a story of when Mamdani was a hyper-competent AD on social media, Romy Mars vlogged her mom Sofia Coppola voting for Mamdani (we love a nepo baby alliance), and who could forget Dr. Sturgeon from Young Sheldon Wallace Shawn?
