\n\tAimee Lou Wood<\/a> has revealed how she has continued to find her voice after she called out the \u201cmean and unfunny\u201d Saturday Night Live impression.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn an interview with Harper\u2019s Bazaar, The White Lotus and Sex Education star detailed an incident on the set of Anxious People<\/a>, the Marc Forster feature co-starring Angelina Jolie<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tLou Wood said she started to panic while filming an emotional scene because she was getting directions from shouting crew members. According to Harper\u2019s Bazaar, she asked for one direction, one voice, and no hand movements in her line of sight.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019ve spent years feeling unable to say anything like that for fear of seeming argumentative \u2013 but now I feel like I can take ownership of what I need to thrive, and tell people what won\u2019t work for me,\u201d Lou Wood said. \u201cWhen I spoke up, all I could see was Angelina giving me a thumbs up. She\u2019s possibly the most famous woman ever, but she\u2019s so normal.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLou Wood said she felt a similar sense of catharsis after her SNL intervention, which she said was akin to \u201cbreaking a pattern\u201d of not standing up to childhood bullies<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tDuring the April sketch, the cast used a parody of Thailand-set\u00a0White Lotus\u00a0Season 3 to poke fun at Wood\u2019s character Chelsea, with Sarah Sherman in a pair of buck teeth.\u00a0The impression came after Wood expressed\u00a0how exhausted she is of talking about her teeth<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tLou Wood, who has recently been cast as Pattie Boyd in Sam Mendes\u2019\u00a0The Beatles<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 A Four-Film Cinematic Event, told Harper\u2019s Bazaar that Hollywood has challenged her mental health.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI find LA emotionally bulimic, and I say that as an ex-bulimic,\u201d she said. \u201cIt is this super-sized adventure where everyone\u2019s talking about you all the time and you have to talk about yourself all the time. And then I leave, and I want to throw it all up.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDeadline first revealed Lou Wood\u2019s casting in Anxious People. The synopsis reads: \u201cThe day before Christmas Eve, investment banker Zara (Jolie) begrudgingly finds herself mingling with a group of strangers at an open house.
