It\u2019s been less than a week since the Blue Jays\u2019 World Series heartbreak and Jason Kelce\u2019s already thrown a fastball of his own.<\/p>\n

In the latest episode of the New Heights podcast<\/a>, which he is co-hosting with his brother Travis Kelce, the Super Bowl\u2013winning duo reacted to the Los Angeles Dodgers\u2019 5\u20134 Game 7 victory over the Blue Jays, a loss that capped Toronto\u2019s first World Series appearance in more than three decades. <\/p>\n

While Travis praised the series as an \u201cawesome seven games of baseball,\u201d Jason dismissed the excitement altogether, questioning \u201cyou\u2019re telling me I\u2019m supposed to get excited about a Canadian baseball team?\u201d<\/p>\n

The nail-biting thriller drew a combined 51 million viewers<\/a> across the United States, Canada, and Japan, including 11.6 million in Canada on Sportsnet and TVA Sports. It was the most-watched English-language broadcast in Canada since the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.<\/p>\n

Travis, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, praised both teams for putting on a show.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was the awesome seven games of baseball, man. It was back and forth. Both teams had their shining moments,\u201d he said. \u201c(The Dodgers) spend more money than everybody. That\u2019s baseball.\u201d<\/p>\n

But his brother Jason, who retired after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, wasn\u2019t buying the hype saying \u201cthat\u2019s why baseball sucks.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s exciting that the team that spent the most money and everybody knew was going to win the World Series, won the World Series?,\u201d he said. \u201cEverybody knew this was going to happen before the season. We just had a bunch of meaningless sh– happen before it and then it happened. So, yeah, no baseball\u2019s not getting my stamp.\u201d<\/p>\n

Salt in the wound? <\/p>\n

The brothers\u2019 comments come just days after the heartbreaking loss for the Blue Jays and amid a wave of viral trolling from American sports figures.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, Milwaukee Bucks coach Doc Rivers joked that \u201cDonald Trump wasn\u2019t going to invite you to the White House anyway,\u201d while Dodgers player Kik\u00e9 Hern\u00e1ndez trolled Toronto fans at the team\u2019s celebration in Los Angeles with a nod to Drake\u2019s \u201cOctober\u2019s Very Own.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Even the Dodgers\u2019 official X (Twitter) account joined in, posting a team photo with the caption, \u201cTHEY STILL NOT LIKE US.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

However, despite the subtle jabs, the Jays front office is already looking forward to the next season. On Thursday, the front office met with media to discuss their off-season plans, including pitcher Shane Bieber\u2019s re-signing and the team\u2019s outlook heading into 2026.<\/p>\n

For Toronto fans, still nursing the sting of a loss that captivated the country, Jason Kelce\u2019s comments may have added salt to the wound.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that both brothers are no strangers to championship pressure \u2014 between them, they\u2019ve made seven Super Bowl appearances with four victories.
