The Clippers enter on a two-game skid after a pair of difficult back-to-backs. They lost by one point to the Miami Heat on Monday, then were overpowered last night by the previously unbeaten Oklahoma City Thunder, 126\u2013107, while playing without Kawhi Leonard.<\/p>\n
James Harden carried the offense with 25 points, six assists, and six rebounds. John Collins added 17, and Derrick Jones Jr. scored 16, but OKC\u2019s depth was overwhelming.<\/p>\n
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander needed only 29 minutes to post 30 points and 12 assists, and six Thunder players finished in double figures as their bench poured in 59 points.<\/p>\n
Both Leonard and Harden are out tonight for the Clippers, leaving LA significantly short-handed.<\/p>\n
The Suns, meanwhile, are coming off a 118\u2013107 loss to the Golden State Warriors despite 38 points from Devin Booker. But there\u2019s a boost on the way: Jalen Green, acquired in the Kevin Durant trade, is set to make his Phoenix debut.<\/p>\n
Green averaged 21 points per game last season with Houston.<\/p>\n
Before the Golden State loss, the Suns handed San Antonio its first defeat of the season in a 130\u2013118 win \u2014 their most impressive victory so far this season.<\/p>\n
