Former LSU gymnast Olivia \u201cLivvy\u201d Dunne\u2019s new West Village apartment<\/a> is in a celebrity-filled building where less-famous residents love rubbing shoulders with the rich, famous and sometimes infamous, The Post has learned.<\/p>\n The VIP-friendly vibe is much different from the subdued Upper West Side co-op board members who notoriously rejected Dunne from buying baseball legend Babe Ruth\u2019s former home over concerns the influencer overshared too much on social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cObviously, there was no question, but we\u2019re very happy when these celebrities are coming into the building, as long as they don\u2019t disrupt the tranquillity,\u201d said Tamir Shemesh, one of Dunne\u2019s new neighbors.<\/p>\n \u201cBut most everybody was just great and wonderful.\u201d<\/p>\n Olivia \u201cLivvy\u201d Dunne\u2019s new apartment is in a celebrity-friendly building, residents say. Ribeiro for New York Post<\/p>\n Dunne forked over $1.95 million for her West 14th Street condo, but\u00a0celebs such as comedian Jerry Seinfeld and \u201cPromiscuous\u201d singer Nelly Furtado opted to rent in the building, Shemesh said.<\/p>\n The gymnast \u2014 who is dating Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes \u2014 isn\u2019t the only athlete to live in the building.<\/p>\n Former New York Rangers winger Mats Zuccarello spent time in the modern condo building, as did fellow one-time Ranger Carl Hagelin, Shemesh said.<\/p>\n The building\u2019s former tenants also include less-than-savory Billy McFarland<\/a>, the convicted fraudster behind the infamous, influencer-hyped Fyre Festival<\/a> in 2017 that ended up descending into chaos for dopes who shelled out up to $12,000 a ticket.<\/p>\n \u201cBilly McFarland rented two apartments here,\u201d Shemesh said. \u201cHe rented one on the low floors, and then moved to the penthouse.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cWe had Ja Rule come here, whatever,\u201d Shemesh said about McFarland\u2019s Fyre Festival co-founder.<\/p>\n Dunne, a social media star, \u201cfits the mold\u201d of the West Village influencer haven, one neighbor said. Getty Images<\/p>\n Dunne has also vaulted into a wider West Village neighborhood where influencers of all stripes are a common sight.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a popular area down here,\u201d said John, a 29-year-old financial analyst who lives a few buildings over. <\/p>\n \u201cShe definitely fits the mold, being a bit younger. So it makes sense. But yeah, it would have been funny if she had gotten Babe Ruth\u2019s old place.\u201d<\/p>\n Swim instructor Craig Hain, 68, said he\u2019s lived near various celebrities for years.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not star struck. I grew up in Hollywood,\u201d he said. \u201cSo an influencer is like, what? Who are you? What are you influencing? I don\u2019t aspire to be that. How is them living here going to affect me? As long as my rent doesn\u2019t go up, good for them.\u201d<\/p>\n Actor Edwin Green, who lives nearby, said it\u2019s a good spot in the city with lots to do.<\/p>\n \u201cI work right down the street at Crane Club, this really fancy restaurant,\u201d Green, 28, said. \u201cSo this is a great spot for celebrities and people of high profile like her and Paul.\u201d<\/p>\n Actor Victoria Bernasconi, 28, predicted Dunne will love living in the neighborhood.<\/p>\n \u201cI think this whole area, like this block right here is definitely a lot of, like, young girls that do Pilates, like, a lot of, like, models, things like that, so I think she\u2019s in the right area,\u201d Bernasconi said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"She won\u2019t have to do back flips to avoid ticking off her new neighbors.
