SAN DIEGO, Calif. \u2014 Longwood senior men’s tennis player Tim\u00e9o Puech<\/a> advanced in the consolation singles draw at the ITA Conference Masters Championship on Friday.<\/p>\n

Puech won the first set against Sabi Roy from Belmont and was leading, 2-0, in the second when Roi retired.<\/p>\n

Puech moves on in the consolation quarterfinals Saturday when he faces Nikola Puntaric of Northern Illinois at a time to be announced.<\/p>\n
