\n\tOlivia Rodrigo<\/a> is making it clear that she is not happy with the Trump administration (and his Department of Homeland Security) using her music to promote their policies. On Friday, the pop singer slammed the White House<\/a> and DHS for posting a video about self-deportation using one of her songs.<\/p>\n

\n\tA video<\/a> posted to Instagram on Tuesday opened with the chaotic, rock part of her Guts favorite \u201cAll-American Bitch\u201d showing clips of ICE<\/a> agents detaining undocumented immigrants with the caption \u201cIf ICE finds you,\u201d and then undocumented immigrants seemingly choosing to self-deport with the softer, more peaceful part of the song that follows.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cLEAVE NOW and self-deport using the CBP Home app,\u201d read the DHS post\u2019s caption. \u201cIf you don\u2019t, you will face the consequences.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a comment that has since been deleted (although it\u2019s unclear if by Rodrigo or DHS), Rodrigo wrote, \u201cDon\u2019t ever use my songs to promote your racist, hateful propaganda.\u201d Since its deletion, fans of Rodrigo have been copy\/pasting her original message to remind viewers of Rodrigo\u2019s take.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn response to Rolling Stone\u2018s request for comment on the matter, a DHS spokesperson said, \u201cAmerica is grateful all the time for our federal law enforcement officers who keep us safe. We suggest Ms. Rodrigo thank them for their service, not belittle their sacrifice.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRodrigo has been a loud voice against Trump\u2019s policies and racist approach to immigration enforcement. When ICE started targeting Angelenos in mass raids back in June, Rodrigo shared an Instagram story<\/a> condemning deportations.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019ve lived in L.A. my whole life and I\u2019m deeply upset about these violent deportations of my neighbors under the current administration,\u201d Rodrigo wrote. \u201cL.A. simply wouldn\u2019t exist without immigrants. Treating hardworking community members with such little respect, empathy, and due process is awful.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tA rep for Rodrigo did not immediately respond to Rolling Stone\u2018s request for additional comment.<\/p>\n
