{"id":269361,"date":"2025-11-08T06:03:09","date_gmt":"2025-11-08T06:03:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/269361\/"},"modified":"2025-11-08T06:03:09","modified_gmt":"2025-11-08T06:03:09","slug":"mens-tennis-closes-fall-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/269361\/","title":{"rendered":"Men\u2019s Tennis Closes Fall Season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\">ATHENS, Ga. \u2013 The Troy men&#8217;s tennis team ended its fall season at the ITA Sectional Championships on Friday, with <a href=\"https:\/\/troytrojans.com\/sports\/mens-tennis\/roster\/luciano-alcocer\/11786\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"11786\" target=\"_blank\">Luciano Alcocer<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/troytrojans.com\/sports\/mens-tennis\/roster\/yeray-andres-pastor\/11787\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"11787\" target=\"_blank\">Yeray Andres Pastor<\/a> dropping a match to Auburn in the consolation draw.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nThe Trojans played a tightly contested match with Josph Phillips and Nicholas Heng, falling 6-4, 6-4 after rain delays moved the match indoors.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nAlcocer and Andres Pastor&#8217;s sectional bid was the end to a stellar fall season, which included a win over Auburn&#8217;s Billy and Freddy Blaydes, who were seeded No. 1 at the ITA Southern Regional last month.
