The world\u2019s largest martial arts organization rolled into the Thai capital with ONE Fight Night 37: Kryklia vs. Agdeve<\/a> on Friday, November 7, and the U.S. primetime spectacle did not disappoint. <\/p>\n

Every one of the seven opening bouts ended via finish \u2013 a rare clean sweep that gave fans a taste of everything, including razor-sharp striking, emphatic submissions, and wild, crowd-stirring knockouts.<\/p>\n

Before the spotlight moved to the inaugural ONE Heavyweight Kickboxing World Title clash between Roman Kryklia<\/a> and Samet \u201cThe King\u201d Agdeve<\/a>, here\u2019s how the action unfolded in the Thai capital.<\/p>\n

Carrillo Finishes Lessei With Second-Round TKO<\/p>\n

Nico \u201cKing of the North\u201d Carrillo<\/a> held down his #4 spot in the featherweight Muay Thai rankings when he went head-to-head with Luke \u201cThe Chef\u201d Lessei<\/a> in the co-main event.<\/p>\n

Carrillo stood in front of Lessei in round one looking for the big knockout finish with punches, but he wound up absorbing dozens of low kicks, which began to show their effect on the Scottish powerhouse. But he kept on punching, hunting for that one big shot \u2013 and it came with a right punch, right knee combination that floored Lessei for an eight-count.<\/p>\n

The American survived round one, but in the next canto, \u201cKing of the North\u201d unleashed his relentless offense. He ripped body shots, punches to the head, and pulverizing knees \u2013 they all came at Lessei with devastating intent.<\/p>\n

Trapped in the corner, \u201cThe Chef\u201d had nowhere to go, so he shelled up and tried to absorb the punishment while waiting for an opening to attack. Carrillo, however, never gave him the chance. He hit Lessei with six knees and three uppercuts before the referee jumped in to wave off the action at 2:35 of round two.<\/p>\n

The win nudged Carrillo\u2019s career record to 29-4 and may have put him in sight of Tawanchai PK Saenchai<\/a>\u2018s ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title.<\/p>\n

Black Panther Knocks Down Estupinan Three Times<\/p>\n

Black Panther<\/a> may have accepted a fight on short notice, but it wasn\u2019t a problem for him. The Thai star tore through Johan \u201cPanda Kick\u201d Estupinan<\/a>, stopping him in the second round of their bantamweight Muay Thai clash to improve his striking record to 80-17.<\/p>\n

The pride of Team Mehdi Zatout took a calculated approach to his battle with the wild Colombian, who pelted the Thai from the outside with punches and kicks throughout round one.<\/p>\n

But when the next frame rolled around, Black Panther pinned a short right punch to Estupinan\u2019s cheek to score the first eight-count of the period. Moments later, the Thai warhorse cracked his opponent with a jutting right elbow, which dropped \u201cPanda Kick\u201d to the mat for the second knockdown of the stanza.<\/p>\n

The final moment followed when Black Panther smashed the Colombian firecracker with a left hook, face planting him into the canvas at 1:29 of round two and notching his fourth straight victory.<\/p>\n

Alyshov Submits Bumina-ang, Remains Undefeated<\/p>\n

Elbek Alyshov<\/a> earned his second submission victory in a row, as he squeezed the fight out of Team Lakay\u2019s Carlo \u201cThe Bull\u201d Bumina-ang<\/a> in round two of their bantamweight MMA battle.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Bull\u201d came out strong in the opening frame, punishing the Azerbaijani-Russian juggernaut with dirty boxing inside the clinch. But when the action went to the canvas in the second stanza, Alyshov flipped the script.<\/p>\n

As the Filipino tried to dominate from half-guard, Alyshov sneakily secured a guillotine choke. He wrenched down on Bumina-ang\u2019s neck until the latter was forced to tap at 3:24 of the second round.<\/p>\n

The win nudged Alyshov\u2019s record to a blemish-free 10-0 with nine finishes.<\/p>\n

Kholmirzaev Ruins Van Rooyen\u2019s ONE Debut<\/p>\n

ONE Friday Fights graduate Avazbek \u201cNinzya\u201d Kholmirzaev<\/a> passed his first main roster test, as he finished unbeaten South African MMA star and highly touted promotional newcomer Willie \u201cWhite Lion\u201d van Rooyen<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kholmirzaev had to weather an early storm, though. Van Rooyen didn\u2019t waste a single second hunting for a knockout on the feet and a submission on the canvas in their flyweight MMA bout.<\/p>\n

But during a scramble, Van Rooyen stretched his arm up to block the incoming ground-and-pound from Kholmirzaev. When he did, the 24-year-old Uzbek dynamo grabbed his limb and sunk in the fight-ending armbar at the 3:52 mark of round one.<\/p>\n

With the victory, Kholmirzaev improved his career record to 14-2 with 13 finishes.<\/p>\n

Adiwang Dominant In Flyweight Debut, Stops Mastromarini<\/p>\n

Lito \u201cThunder Kid\u201d Adiwang<\/a> sent shockwaves through the Thai capital in his flyweight MMA debut against Argentina\u2019s Mauro \u201cDinamita\u201d Mastromarini<\/a>, scoring a TKO at the 4:52 mark of round one.<\/p>\n

The Filipino jumped in and out of range as he traded wild punches with Mastromarini. Just as his foe began to backtrack, Adiwang lunged forward into a left hook. The punch anchored itself to the Argentine\u2019s chin.<\/p>\n

The latter found himself staring up at Adiwang, who began raining down punches until the referee jumped in to stop the action. With the victory, the Soma Fight Club standout improved to 17-6 under MMA rules.<\/p>\n

Naito Decimates Nakrob In The First Round<\/p>\n

Taiki \u201cSilent Sniper\u201d Naito<\/a> made quick work of Nakrob Fairtex<\/a>, knocking out the Thai veteran in the first round of their flyweight Muay Thai tilt to improve his all-striking record to 38-14.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old Japanese star peppered Nakrob with low kicks very early, but nearly two minutes into the contest, he dodged a lunging left hook and then dropped the Thai athlete with a stunning jab.<\/p>\n

Nakrob answered the count, but Naito didn\u2019t let him rest for long. He wanted to get the job done.<\/p>\n

\u201cSilent Sniper\u201d went right back on the attack with punches and kicks, forcing his opponent into a dangerous exchange inside the pocket. During the melee, Naito \u2013 who\u2019s also the #4-ranked contender in the flyweight kickboxing division \u2013 landed a left and right punch combination that sent Nakrob face down into the canvas at the 2:27 mark of the opening stanza.<\/p>\n

Nakatani Kicks Off ONE Fight Night 37 With TKO<\/p>\n

Gilbert Nakatani<\/a> finally captured his first promotional victory, as he knocked out Eko Roni Saputra<\/a> in their flyweight MMA showdown to bring his professional record to 9-3.<\/p>\n

The Japanese-American rising star looked sharp on the feet, as he sent punches careening into the Indonesian\u2019s jawbone. <\/p>\n

Like a shadow, Nakatani followed Saputra wherever he went. Tracking his opponent left and right, the 32-year-old continued to attack with punches until a right hand sent his Indonesian foe crumbling to the canvas.<\/p>\n

Nakatani dropped down to his knees and slammed hammerfists into his rival\u2019s temple until the referee stopped the contest at the 2:01 mark of round one.<\/p>\n

Nico Carrillo defeats Luke Lessei via TKO at 2:35 of round two (Muay Thai \u2013 featherweight)<\/p>\n

Black Panther defeats Johan Estupinan via TKO at 1:29 of round two (Muay Thai \u2013 bantamweight)<\/p>\n
