We had some action within the Montreal Canadiens organization today, even though the team has the day off.<\/p>\n
“The Canadiens have loaned defenseman Marc Del Gaizo to the Laval Rocket.”<\/p>\n

Marc Del Gaizo Once Again Loses His Spot With the Montreal Canadiens<\/p>\n
He’ll have to wait a bit longer before earning another chance in the National Hockey League.<\/p>\n
Del Gaizo, 26, is a left-shot defenseman standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 193 pounds. He was selected in the fourth round of the 2019 NHL Draft (109th overall) by the Nashville Predators.<\/p>\n
He has recorded 12 points in 55 career NHL games, all with Nashville (9 points in 46 games last season and 3 points in 9 games in 2023-24).<\/p>\n
This season, with the Laval Rocket, he has one point in six games.<\/p>\n
There’s quite a bit of movement on defense within the Montreal Canadiens organization, and we’ll keep you updated on the next developments.<\/p>\n
