Wall push-ups<\/p>\n<p>Push-ups can be adapted to suit all different abilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStand a few steps away from a wall, place your hands on it at shoulder height and slowly push your body toward the wall and back,\u201d says Rowan Clift, training specialist at AI-based fitness and lifestyle coaching app <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-affiliate=\"true\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/redirect.viglink.com?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.freeletics.com%2Fen%2F&amp;articleId=b2860821&amp;key=9ed4af92937c872e0ab792f0310bab4e\">Freeletics<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis works out your chest, shoulders and arm muscles, and helps build upper body strength and improves posture.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>3. Supported single leg stands<\/p>\n<p>Try doing a couple of repetitions of this one every day if you want to improve your balance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStand next to a chair or wall for support and shift your weight onto one foot,\u201d says Betts. \u201cLift the other foot slightly off the ground and hold for 10-15 seconds, then switch legs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis works your leg muscles and core and will help improve your balance and stability.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>4. Core vacuum exercises<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLie on your back with your knees bent and take a deep breath in, pushing the belly outwards,\u201d says Michael Fatica, lead consultant osteopath at online back rehabilitation program, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.backinshapeprogram.com\">Back In Shape<\/a>. \u201cBreathing out, pull your belly button and hold this position for three seconds and then repeat.
