As you continue your Gilmore Girls rewatch<\/a> this fall, you may find yourself revisiting that old, familiar question: Team Jess, Dean, or Logan?<\/p>\n

In a recent People interview<\/a>, Matt Czuchry and Jared Padalecki (who played Logan and Dean) were asked just that. And while Padalecki, for his part, said he was Team Jess today \u2014 even though, he acknowledged: \u201cThey all were flawed, let\u2019s be clear\u201d \u2014 Czuchry made the case for his own character\u2019s prospects with comments that will thrill the Huntzberger hive<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Rory & Logan\u2019s Love Story<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s kind of changed for me over the course of time,\u201d Czuchry said of assessing Rory\u2019s beaus. (In fact, in a 2015 panel, he voiced his support<\/a> for Team Jess, per People.)<\/p>\n

But the Resident alum said that Rory and Logan\u2019s storyline in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life gave him a new perspective. In the 2016 revival event, Logan was engaged and having an affair with Rory. So involved were the erstwhile college sweethearts that when Rory revealed she was pregnant in the final moments of the series, fans \u2014 and members of the show\u2019s crew<\/a>, too \u2014 concluded that timing-wise, Logan was almost certainly the father.<\/p>\n

The Netflix series was \u201cso much fun,\u201d Czuchry said, adding: \u201cI think if he changes his life, then I could see Logan coming back and being with Rory. He would be in a completely different place in his life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Indeed, while Logan was Rory\u2019s longest relationship on Gilmore Girls, the pair stumbled over timing. Logan proposed to Rory in the ending of the original series, but Rory wasn\u2019t quite ready for that path \u2014 and a decade later, they were still in each other\u2019s lives, but Logan was engaged to a French heiress.<\/p>\n

Czuchry\u2019s comments suggest his hope for the pair to finally work it out in a new stage of life. So… might his theory pan out on screen?<\/p>\n

The Future Of Gilmore Girls<\/p>\n

For now, there aren\u2019t any official plans for a third iteration of Gilmore Girls \u2014 but nearly 10 years after A Year in the Life, hopes are high as ever. Recently, for example, Lauren Graham voiced her desire<\/a> to do a holiday reunion. \u201cThat\u2019s what I think the Brits do so well with their beloved shows, is that you get the Christmas special. So it\u2019s not episodes, but it\u2019s seeing all your friends together again,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

And as Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino told Bustle<\/a> shortly after, \u201cLook, any chance I have to work with Lauren Graham \u2014 if there\u2019s snow, if there\u2019s rain, if there\u2019s mosquitoes, I\u2019ll still do it. She\u2019s my girl.\u201d<\/p>\n
