Blake Lively<\/a>‘s deposition date\u00a0has been pushed back by two weeks after the judge’s latest ruling in her ongoing legal battle against Justin Baldoni<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n According to court documents reviewed by PEOPLE, on Wednesday, July 16, counsel for both parties met and conferred, mutually agreeing to reschedule Lively’s deposition for Thursday, July 31, after it was initially scheduled for Thursday, July 17<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n A rep for Lively did not reply to PEOPLE’s request for comment. PEOPLE has reached out to Baldoni’s lawyer for comment.\n<\/p>\n The deposition was scheduled to take place in an undisclosed location after the actress was granted\u00a0a\u00a0protective order<\/a> on Monday, July 14.\n<\/p>\n Blake Lively attends the UK Gala Screening of “It Ends With Us” on August 08, 2024 in London, England.<\/p>\n Jeff Spicer\/Getty\u00a0<\/p>\n The change of dates comes amid Lively’s lawsuit against Texas-based publicist and social media specialist Jed Wallace being dismissed on jurisdictional grounds earlier the same day<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n The actress filed a civil rights complaint against Wallace, the operator behind Texas-based crisis-management firm Street Relations, Inc., in December 2024, claiming that he was hired by Justin Baldoni’s PR team (publicists Melissa Nathan and Jen Abel) to assist in an alleged smear campaign against her.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n While Lively claimed Wallace “weaponized a digital army around the country from New York to Los Angeles to create, seed and promote content that appeared to be authentic on social media platforms and internet chat forums,” Judge Lewis J. Liman\u00a0granted Wallace’s motion to dismiss without prejudice.\n<\/p>\n The judge’s dismissal allows the plaintiff to refile the same claim or charges at a later time.
