The Peruvian fighter leaned on his patented striking and kicks before showcasing some wrestling and grappling. Johns is one tough cookie, but Marcos was one step ahead the entire time.

While Marcos has mostly decision wins on his UFC resume the bantamweight contender was definitely going for the kill in the second round. He was able to get behind Johns along the cage and drag him backwards to take his back on the canvas. Marcos then sunk in a nasty rear-naked choke, but Johns didn’t tap. Johns ended up going to sleep as the referee peeled Marcos off him.

Check out the final moments below:

For complete UFC Vegas 111 results, coverage, and highlights click HERE.

Daniel Marcos returned to the bantamweight win column in impressive fashion earlier tonight (Sat., Nov. 8, 2025) at…

[444
49,48,641,33601,638,82,37644,702,7788,9468
post-270815","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-mma","tag-ca","tag-canada","tag-fighting","tag-latest-ufc-mma-news","tag-mma","tag-sports","tag-ufc-on-espn-fight-night","tag-ufc-news","tag-ufc-results","tag-ufc-videos
["GET
