Luckily for fight fans, Padilla agreed to take some of Bonfim\u2019s purse and keep the fight as planned, mostly because he already trained for the fight and needs the money. It ended up being a great decision for \u201cTaco.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">While Bonfim was able to land some strong strikes early on and use his power to fend off Padilla\u2019s biggest threats, that only lasted so long. After experiencing a horrendous weight cut Bonfim looked exhausted halfway through the second round.
