Davis.<\/p>\n<p>Davis played at North Carolina and was a collegiate legend.<\/p>\n<p>Davis played five seasons at UNC, compiling some of the best numbers in Tar Heels history.<\/p>\n<p>He finished his career with 2,725 points, 659 rebounds, 568 assists and 178 steals. He made 359 3-pointers at a 36.7 percent clip.<\/p>\n<p>MORE:\u00a0<a target=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sportingnews.com\/ca\/nba\/new-orleans-pelicans\/news\/pelicans-zion-williamson-problem-trade-wont-solve\/d2401c46988dc5d034ef0c1b\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Pelicans have a Zion Williamson problem that a trade won&#8217;t solve<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Davis was an All-American in 2023-24 before falling off slightly in the Tar Heels&#8217; 2024-25 struggles.<\/p>\n<p>The Lakers have a lot of fun faces on their G League team, but Davis will be an especially interesting one to watch.<\/p>\n<p>Given his massively impressive 2023-24 season, it&#8217;s fair to think there could be an NBA future for Davis. That makes his first professional campaign particularly key in the interests of impressing those both in the Lakers&#8217; organization and around the NBA.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing is a given, of course. There are a lot of talented guards even in the G League. Because Davis isn&#8217;t big, he&#8217;ll really have to score and make plays to give himself a chance.<\/p>\n<p>But that&#8217;s pretty much all Davis did with the Tar Heels.
